Chapter 6 of Manna has been published.

My mom is teaching Pre-Calculus this year. It is neat because she got a TI83 Plus Silver Edition graphing calculator. It is neat because I can draw pictures on it entirely from numbers. I can do some of the problems in the book. It is neat. I would like a graphing calculator in my Algebra II class.

The last few nights, I went to bed around 1:30 am and got up around 6:00 am. When I got home from school today, I slept until my mom got home and woke me up. I slept I guess for about 4 hours. I am still tired, but I have homework to do.

My internet and power have been out until now because of the hurricane that came through. Yesterday, My dad found my wallet that my aunt and unlcle gave me when I was in first grade. It has been missing ever since I was in sixth grade. My library card was in it and my writing was so messy. This morning after the hurricane came through, leaves and branches covered every inch of our driveway and lawn. My sister just found my brother's computer game that has been missing for abou 2 years now. It seems like a lot of things are turning up these days.

Last night, I went to bed around 1:30 because I was reading Manna, by Marshall Brain. I forgot to do my Spanish homework, so in the car on the way to school, I wrote all of my words 2 times. At lunch, I got a little done in my activity book, and in Spainsh class, I finished the rest of it exept one exercise and turned it in at the end of class. My firend, who doesn't go to my school anymore, last year said that Spanish class was his study hall. I see why, because she didn't say a word to me about doing work while she was lecturing. After school (and Phys. Ed.), I went to try out for a year-round swim team. It was so hard just to do a 50, which is down and back. During the summer season, it was a cinch. I guess it's because I am out of shape. I hane almost no energy because Phys. Ed. and swimming drained me. I finished my paper model airplane except for the landing gear. It looks very real. It took a lot of work to do because I only had ELMER'S School Glue.

Chapter 5 of the book Manna, by Marshall Brain, has been published

I started to build this model airplane that you can print out on cardstock or normal paper. It is very realastic, but it takes a lot of time to build. This is a very good paper airplane to fly if you can figure out how to fly it

I haven't written anything in almost a week. In school, My favorite class is Spanish. It is interesting to learn a new language. I hope to one day be able to speak many languages. I am anxious to be able to drive. I downloaded the Virginia drivers manual. It has a lot of things that I didn't know in it. I don't have much to say other than that.

In Phys. Ed. class today, we did push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, mountain climbing, and leg lifts. After school, I read part of a novel by Marshall Brain called Manna. It is about a robot takeover that happens later this century. After I read half of that, I went to Yoroi Kamisama, a Christian based Martial Art. The founder was not there, and neither was the other person who usually teaches class. The person who was there was not planning to teach because his shoulder is going bad. He taught class, but he told us what to do and did not demonstrate for us. Before we cane home, we went to Wal-Mart. There, I saw several things that I would like to have. They had a DVD+RW drive for only $160.00. They also had a 80GB hard drive for $100.00. I didn't get either of these. When I got home, I did my Spainish homework which was four days worth because I had forgotten to do my homework for Wendesday.

Today, I had Phys. Ed. My instructor is a retired U.S. Marine. He makes us call him sir. His class was sort of boaring. In Spanish class, almost the whole class forgot their homework including me. She said that since it was close to the beginning of the year, and we had not gotten used to the system yet, there would be no penalty this time, but to bring all homework and Friday. After school, my mom took me and my five brothers and sisters to McDonald's. They have kids night every Wednesday when Happy Meals are noly $1.00. When I got home, I watched the rest of the movies that I previously talked about. I did my homework that is due tomorrow and finished about midnight. My posts are probably boaring to anyone who is reading them, but I am simply putting down a summary of my day in my perspective.

The previous post was supposed to be there yesterday, but my internet connection was down.

Last night, I went to bed at 5:00 a.m. I didn't get my essay done, so I am still working on it. I barely stayed awake through school to day. At Phys. Ed. today, we had a free period because there was a miscommunication about a band and orchestra assembly that didn't happen today. I played a varation of monkey in the middle with my sister and her friends. It was rather enjoyable. When I got home today, I took my shower then fell asleep on the couch until 8:00 p.m. I awoke in panic that I slept so long and started my homework and finished all of it except my vocabulary which I accidentally left at school. My internet connection is almost non-existent right now, so this may not be seen for a while after I have written it.

I am up late trying to think of what ot write on a critical essay that is due today at 9:00 a.m. I can't think of anything to write down. I wish things like this were easier. I think someday, I will make a detailed paper to help anyone develop their own perfect critical essay. Untill then, I am still stuck on mine for now. I had better get back to stareing at my almost blank paper now.

Today, I created this blog. I watched these neat videos that show how things are manufactured. I also looked for instructions for building my own go-cart. I am not as sore as I was this afternoon:). I didn't do much other than that except read this article.

Yesterday, I went to a labor day picnic at my family's friend's house. There they had croquet, swimming, food, badmitton, and my favorite, a go-cart. There was a trail in the woods that someone had just cut so it was very rough, but there was a small portion of it that had been there long enough for the leaves to fill all of the holes and make it smooth and I could go very fast on that part of the path. Today, I am sore because I went very fast on the freshly cut path. It threw dirt all over me and my white shirt was dark brown. Later in the evening, the go-cart quit on me, and when I pulled the cord to start it, the cord borke off! I was scared about what kind of trouble I could get in. I told someone and they said that they were amazed it hadn't happened sooner because it usually only lasts a few hours or so.
