I installed StyleXP on my computer. It allows me to change the way that the windows look. Windows XP has a graphics engine built in. It is used to produce the rounded shapes of the windows. Some people have used this feaure to build themes that can make the windows any shape or color without using any more system resources.

This is a corrected version of what I meant to say in the previous post I installed Microsoft Office XP on my computer . I am writing this blog post with a featured built into Office XP that recognizes your voice. I am typing this entry using this feature. I think that it is probably faster to actually typed it than use the voice recognition feature. I also figured out how it to install software over over a network . The way I did was to map a network drive and then install the software as if the network drive was CD ROM drive . I wonder if there's a better way to do it in this. If I gave in the right mood (have been talking for a while), and I talk very monotone like I'm a robot or something, this speech recognition software works well. Especially if I don't vary the tone of my voice or the speed at which I talk.

I finally solved my problem with copying the cd. I found out that it is impossible to copy the cd because there is a sort of physical stamp on a part of the cd that can't be written onto no a cdr. I tried about 5 programs and wasted 5 cdrs in the process of trying to get a copy. I finally found a program called Alcohol 120%. I downloaded a free trial and wrote a cd with it. The program copys the "stamp" onto a file on the cd where it will know where to find it. The software tells the computer that the cd has the stamp in the right place and the game plays flawlessly. The disadvantage of this method is tat it can only play on a computer that has emulation software such as Alcohol 120%, which costs $50 for the license.

When I buy a computer game, the first thing that I do is copy the cd and lock up the original. When I bought Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, I copied the cd and it didn't work. I tried again, and still no success. The original cd works, but the copy doesn't. I think that it has some kind of code that the burning software (Nero 5.5) couldn't read.
