My latest host for cyberpear has not come back up, so I am hosted on my own computer again. This weekend, I have been messing with mod_rewrite. I have made it so that the URIs on my site don't tie it to any particular technology. Each page has what seems to be its own directory. This is faked by mod_rewrite and internally the actual PHP page is outputted.
