Today was quite exhausting. My brother woke me up at the time when I should've been at the bus stop. I was alarmed, and started grabbing my stuff, not bothering to change my clothes. I nearly missed the bus, but go there in time. When I got to school, I changed into my clothes from yesterday, which were kind of damp because they were in my swimming bag, and my wet swim suit was still in it.

When I came up to the library after school, I found that many of my files and shortcuts had been mysteriously erased, and my Opera sessions and information had also been erased. I lost my place in all of the websites I had been visiting. I just reinstalled Opera (which I'm not sure I'm supposed to), and edited the config file to point to my userspace that can be accessed from any computer. I saved the file without an extension in case they regularly delete .ini files, or .ink files.

Anyways, that's a snapshot of my life today.

Well, now for my grades...
Class Grade
Biology B+
US History C
Honors English 11 B
Physics A+
Spanish B+
As is obvious, they aren't that great. I really need to bring them up. This is the worst report card of my high school career to this point.

My Cross Country team did pretty well in the state meet, considering that we are a first-year school. We placed eleventh out of sixteen teams at the state meet. I did not, unfortunately, get to run in the meet. I wish that I could have, but it is probably better that I did not, as the person who did run is better than me.

Report cards come out tomorrow, and I am very anxious about it. My grades aren't as good as they normally are, and I desperately need to focus more on my school work.

Ok, finally I have a little bit of free time. Now for some updates.

In Cross Country, our team finished fourth in the Regional Championships, making it to the State Championships. I hear that we are the first school to make it to the state level our first year. I ran my best time at Regionals, but not as well as the coaches wanted me to. My time for the 5k (about 3.11 miles) was 18:38.

School has been very difficult. On Friday, and today, we had mid-terms (we are on block scheduling). My Physics exam was easy, but the Spanish III exam was harder. I didn't know any of the cultural stuff or the geography stuff; I think that that stuff isn't necessary in learning the Spanish language. I got a 96% on my Biology exam, which is ok, I suppose.

On Saturday, I took the SAT for the second time. I didn't have my calculator this time, so one of the sections I didn't complete. The other sections seemed slightly easier, but the essay seemed harder. The first time I took it, I got 510 in Critical Reading, which is below average; 610 in Writing; and 720 in Math which is about 95th percentile. My dad said that the reading score is unacceptable, and that I have to get it to at least 600.

Tomorrow is election day, so I don't have school, which is why I have time to post today.
